AWANA standards for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (based on 2 Timothy 2:15).
It meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 p.m. during the school year.
We have been offering AWANA since 2001. It is a program for children ages 3 years - 6th grade in three different groups: Cubbies (3-5 years); Sparkies (1st-2nd grade) and T 'n T (Truth and Training) grades 3-6. Each group participates in its own three activities which are age appropriate: a time of worship called Council Time consisting of praying for their requests, songs, and a Bible lesson; games around the AWANA circle; and, Handbook Time in which they learn Bible verses and facts towards earning awards.
Each year several AWANA kids participate in the AWANA Games and Bible Quizzing.
